MID TERM COURSES

Post Diploma In Cad/Cam

Admission Procedure

The candidates who meet the requirement (i.e. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production or Equivalent) will be called to attend an entrance test/interview. Final selection will be done on merit basis by considering test and interview.

Course Fee

The course fee is Rs. 36,000/-. The fee may be paid in two installments. The first installment is Rs. 18000/- at the time of admission. The second installment Rs. 18000/- before the end of three months duration from the date of commencement of the course.

Highlights Of The Course

During the training the students are being trained on various CAD/CAM softwares like Auto CAD, MDT, Solid Works, Proe and Unigraphics + CAM Softwares like Master CAM and UG CAM. They are fully trained on the software and to learn and complete the project work. After doing this course the students become confident to work on any CAD/CAM softwares.

The students are also trained on latest CNC Milling, CNC Turning and DNC System.

PD03 : CNC Technology (CNC Milling), CNC Turning
PD04 : Introduction to CAD-1 (Auto CAD & MDT)
PD05 : Introduction to CAM-1 (Master CAM)
PD06 : Advanced CAD (Unigraphics Pro-E)
PD07 : Advanced CAM (Unigrapnhics, Proe)
PD08 :  Projects

  • Six Months Skill Development Course In Milling
    • Course Content
      Job Clamping Methods, Setting of fixtures, work pieces, procedure for alignment of fixtures/work pieces, datum setting, rough milling, plain milling step milling, Angular milling, Slotting, grooving, Gang milling, boring, helical milling, profile milling, simple indexing, direct indexing, rotary milling and drilling on milling machine, preventive action, safety precautions.
  • Six Months Skill Development Course In Grinding
    • Course Content
      Job clamping method, setting of fixtures work pieces, selection of grinding wheels, balancing of wheels, mounting of wheels, rueing and dressing, selection of tools and equipments, surface grinding right angle grinding, use of sin bar, since table, sine vice, universal vie in grinding, cylindrical grinding, external and internal grinding, taper grinding, grinding between centers, step grinding, tool and cutting grinding, grinding of cutting tools, selection og grinding wheels, specification of wheels, preventive action, safety precautions.
  • Six Months Skill Development Course In Turning 
    • Course Content
      Job clamping method, selection of tools, selection of work holding devides, selection of feed, speed and depth of cut. Plain turning facing, step turning, taper turning, taper turning using taper turning attachment, eccentric turning, center drilling, reaming boring, internal and external thread cutting, grooving, knurling, use of measuring instruments, preventive action, safety precautions, grinding on lathe using attachment, radius turning attachment form turning attachment.
